Peridot Silver Rings
Listening to the forms proposed by the landscape of rocks, I have been exploring different textures and shapes in metals such as silver, copper and bronze, the nature and possibilities discover by himself. Thanks to roaming I've lived since 2003 in Central, I have been able to compile technical exchange with other artisans from around the world, which I check oral heritage in the solitude of my studio. Nomadism often directs me to devise other ways to build a piece of jewelry because they can not carry all the necessary technology, which allows me a greater intimacy with my creative potential. The Puelche ("people of the East" in Mapudungun) is a warm wind, intense near which I grew up in southern Chile and that somehow determines a way of being and a voice coming from the hands. This is the work I've been exhibiting since 2007 in street fairs and various Latin American countries, which has allowed me to learn from the sidewalk the heart of several villages.
